What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology has been practiced on patients since 1960 and has helped lay the foundation for further development in holistic medicine. It is an advanced form of Mind Body Medicine - applying the unique and deeper aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide lasting results for patients’ emotional and physical issues.
This modality integrates a combination of treatment tools into structural, postural, neurological, psycho-physiological issues and functional integration to improve wellbeing in most aspects of life.
Overview
Kinesiology is an integration of Eastern and Western disciplines recognising the fundamental relationship between the mind and body for optimal wellbeing. The techniques used assist patients to heal and achieve the desired transformation in their lives. Through the use of kinesiology, I will be able to assess and interact with my patients at a much deeper level, discovering and resolving issues underlying the influenced perception, behaviour and wellbeing.
Treatment
The human body can communicate what is out of balance and exactly what treatment is needed to correct each of its current ailments. The body makes sounds all the time, but most cannot be heard with the naked ear. Unlike GPs who may use a stethoscope to try and listen to the body, kinesiology applies a muscle testing technique to listen to the imbalanced energy within your body and then corrects it.
Kinesiology also works amazingly well for infants and children who cannot communicate their needs for themselves. Through Kinesiology, I can find out why they are crying, screaming or experiencing problems with feeding and allergies.
